Fault 1: Severe heating of the electric spindle

Solution: If the bearing is damaged, it is necessary to replace it with a high-quality bearing of the same model in a timely manner; If the lubrication is poor, it is necessary to check the lubrication system and supplement or replace the appropriate lubricant; Regarding motor overload, the load condition can be checked and cutting parameters can be adjusted to avoid the motor being in an overloaded state for a long time; If there is a malfunction in the cooling system, it is necessary to inspect components such as the cooling pump, pipes, and radiator, repair or replace damaged parts, and ensure the normal operation of the cooling system.

Reason: spindle dynamic balance is disrupted, motor rotor is unbalanced, tool installation is improper, bearing wear, etc.
Solution: For the issue of spindle dynamic balance, the electric spindle needs to be sent to a professional organization for dynamic balance correction; If the motor rotor is unbalanced, the motor rotor should be disassembled for balance detection and adjustment; If the tool is not installed properly, it needs to be reinstalled correctly to ensure that the tool is installed firmly and concentric; If the bearings wear out, they need to be replaced with new bearings in a timely manner.
Fault 3: Abnormal speed of electric spindle
Performance: The actual speed of the electric spindle does not match the set speed, resulting in unstable speed or inability to reach the rated speed.
Reason: Driver malfunction, motor malfunction, encoder malfunction, loose transmission belt, etc.
Solution: If it is a drive failure, check the drive parameter settings, repair or replace the faulty drive; If the motor malfunctions, it is necessary to disassemble and inspect the motor, repair or replace damaged motor components; When the encoder malfunctions, check the connection circuit of the encoder. If the circuit is normal, replace the encoder; If the drive belt is loose, adjust the belt tension or replace it with a new belt.
Fault 4: Excessive noise from the electric spindle
Performance: The electric spindle produces harsh noise during operation, which affects the working environment and may be accompanied by unstable equipment operation.
Reason: Bearing oil shortage or damage, gear wear, loose internal components of the motor, deteriorated lubricating grease, etc.
Solution: If the bearing is short of oil, replenish lubricating grease in a timely manner; If the bearing is damaged, replace it with a new one; If the gear wears out, the worn gear needs to be replaced; For loose internal components of the motor, it is necessary to disassemble the motor and tighten the loose parts; When the lubricating grease deteriorates, the lubrication system should be cleaned and replaced with new lubricating grease.
